That person has a new name. A Builder.

A Builder isn't a faster coder or a better designer. A Builder owns the result. They spot the problem, decide how to solve it, and use AI to bring it to life, end to end.

Not “that's not my job.” The job is the whole thing.

If you're an engineer, a PM, or a designer, you're not starting from zero. You already own one corner of the work cold. Becoming a Builder is picking up the other two, and AI has never made that easier.

You don't need permission, a title change, or a bigger team. You need to build one real thing, all the way through. Then another.

A demo isn't a product. The craft is what closes the gap between “it works on my screen” and “people rely on it every day.”

Builders still sweat that gap. AI doesn't remove the craft. It lets you cross the distance in weeks instead of years.
